Let's Plan a Trip!

Parents and students:


Our first field trip of the year is planned for Friday, October 8. We will be going to the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill to see the FULLDOME version of Magic Tree House® Space Mission.

We will board buses from WMPCS and arrive in Chapel Hill in time to travel with the brother-sister duo, Jack and Annie, as they proceed to answer the questions left for them in a mysterious note signed “–M.”

Mary Pope Osborne, author of the best-selling Magic Tree House® children’s book series will initiate the beginning with an opening narration. As the program develops, we will find ourselves perched high in the trees as Jack and Annie discover the note that asks them to answer a series of six questions about space.

STUDENTS, how can you prepare for your journey? Your mission: see if you can define the following vocabulary words. On Thursday, October 7, present to Ms. Farmer/ Mrs. Miller a completed list of definitions and you will receive a prize for your liftoff preparations.
