Parents:
Please, practice math with your child at home.
In the next few days, your child will be going home with papers saying 5-Minute Math. The goal of these papers is for your child to master solving 50 problems in five (5) minutes.
We will do weekly 5-Minute Math problems in class. There will be two opportunities for your child to score 100% for the week's problems.
Every Monday, if your child scores 100% on the exercise, he/ she will not have to repeat the same problems on Friday.
However, if on Monday your child does not score 100%, he/ she will have the opportunity to reach 100% by solving the same problems on Friday.
We appreciate your assistance and encouragement in helping your child learn math!
