Updates -- Notes for the Week of 10/4

Dear Parents:

Please note the following additions this week on the blog:

Spelling lists -- children have been assigned to a specific spelling group to learn. Please see the corresponding list of words for the group your child is assigned. If unsure of which group your child is assigned, please contact Ms. Farmer and/or Mrs. Miller. This week's list is to the left of this post.

Make up Days -- school days have been rescheduled for 10/29 and 1/28. These are 1/2 days; but BASC will be provided as well as After School. Please make sure your child has a lunch if staying for After School.

Donuts for Dad -- event has been rescheduled for Friday, October 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Look forward to seeing you there!

Study Island -- if your child does not remember his/her password for Study Island, please contact Mrs. Barmer at school.

Hot Lunches -- Please note the date and time deadline to order hot lunches. The next hot lunch will be Wednesday, 10/13. The price is $3.00 for spaghetti from Poor Man's Grill. MONEY IS DUE NO LATER THAN 3:00 p.m. on MONDAY, 10/11. Thank you.

Information -- please review your home address and telephone number with your child. Many of the children do not know this information and it is important they learn it.

Lastly, please remember to sign up to volunteer when you can. We have many opportunities available in the classroom. You will be contacted soon regarding several opportunities. Please consider participating when called upon to do so. Also, if you are new to this class blog, please share with other parents who may not be aware of this feature. This venue is a good way to communicate what is happening in the classroom as well as the school.  Please feel free to contact your Room Moms, Lisa and Margaret  (see e-mail addresses to the right of this post) any time you have volunteer questions.
